ALL managers are not trained to lead, some are promoted because they kiss the uppers rear end. The priority is to get the trains out at no cost, so the middle management can appease the upper managers. This follows you through out your career and management will discipline you at every opportunity even though you may have many years with the company. If you do your job correctly and don't cut corners your tagged as a trouble maker. Have to wait to get a better job for better days off. Pays well can make close to 90k out of the gate but seniority system is bad. Very militant company to some standards!! If you are a minute late you are sent home and given a point and someone else does your work. They are pretty easy to accumulate because they become double after about 10 or 12, not sure the exact number. Once you've reached 24 points that’s a termination. It’s ran off a point system which you are not allowed to get 24 points in two years. If your doctor take you out of that’s a point. Anytime you take any day off if you have no more sick days that’s a point. There is 5 total sick days for the entire year outside of your vacation time. The company isn’t fit for anyone with underage children. Seniority at about 10 years in gets the best schedules. You have to adjust your personal life to a whole new routine. Being bumped off your schedule can be frustrating. The company needs coverage so they will still send you to do the work. A lot of times drivers get lost on routes because they do not know or do not remember routes. Extra board is horrible and exhausting you’re thrown wherever they need you.
